Business (DBA) Certificates

The Town of Hingham requires those who are doing business in the town, under a name not their own, if not incorporated, to file a certificate with the Town Clerk's office indicating the business name, address, principal's name(s) and address(es).

Should you file the application by mail, you must have your signature(s) notarized. The filing fee is $50 and the permit is valid for 4 years. The fee for withdrawal from, or termination of, a business is $20.
