Town Election News January 22, 2026
This week the following candidates have pulled nomination papers:
- Sewer Commission (3 year term): Richard F. Eisen
- Board of Assessors (3 year term): Randall Winters, a candidate for re-election
If you are interested in running, please call ahead at (781) 741-1410 to schedule an appointment to pick up your nomination papers. The filing deadline is March 13, 2026 and a candidate must have fifty verified voter signatures to be qualified.
Remember, polling hours for the Town Election have changed to 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
In other news
Annual Street Listing Census
We continue to receive the 2026 Annual Street Listing Census forms and note there seem to be questions about these two areas:
- There should be one Census per household, listing all members. This includes people with different last names and minor children. Please add any who are not listed but live with you.
- If your adult child has moved, and is a registered voter in Hingham, we do require their signature to remove them from the voter rolls. We can also email a removal form to the voter - contact us for information.
Drop off the Annual Census forms in the red, white and blue Town Clerk Ballot/Census Drop Box located in front of Town Hall or return by mail.
