The Hingham Fire Department welcomed the Cutter family, whose home was destroyed in a large fire on Mann Street last summer, to the Hingham Fire Headquarters over the weekend. Late last year, the Cutters established the Cut Fire Fund in the wake of their own house fire as a way to raise money for fire prevention and recovery efforts and to support local fire departments. The Cut Fire Fund donated $10,000 to the Hingham Fire Department to support its fire prevention work, and the effort was featured in a WBZ news story.
