Our team will share a preliminary flood vulnerability assessment of the Pump Station, discuss proposed solutions to reduce flood impact, provide information on the force main upgrade portion of the project, and host a question-and-answer session.
Sea level rise and storm surge (SLR/SS)-related flooding are projected to increase in future. To protect the Broad Cove and essential infrastructure, the Town of Hingham is assessing the flood vulnerability at the Broad Cove Pump Station and the Broad Cove Force Main for rehabilitation.
