The Town of Hingham has updated scheduling for the paving of the following roadways:
Downer Avenue August 22
Scotland Street and Polk Road August 25-26
Contractors are authorized to mobilize and begin construction activities beginning at 7:00 AM. We will attempt to maintain access to affected properties throughout the duration of work. Typical daily work hours are from 7:00 AM until 3:30 PM, but may vary depending on working conditions on a given day.
All scheduling dates are dependent on weather conditions and subject to change. Please be sure to check our Town’s website for any updates to this schedule.
You may experience travel delays during this time. On-street parking will not be permitted from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, within the vicinity of construction activity.
Please seek guidance from available representatives (Police/DPW/Engineering Staff) that will be onsite during the work. We apologize for any inconvenience.
