[ARCHIVED] Road Maintenance Notice: Overnight Crack Sealing 8/14-15

Construction Barriers

The Town of Hingham has scheduled overnight crack sealing for the following roadways:

  • Wompatuck Road
  • Highfield Road
  • Main Street (Crooked Meadow Lane To Longmeadow Road)
  • Hope Road
  • Codman Road
  • Cutter Hill Road
  • Forest Lane
  • Hoover Road
  • Huntley Road

Contractors are authorized to mobilize and begin construction activities beginning at 8:00 PM. We will attempt to maintain access to affected properties throughout the duration of work. Typical daily work hours are from 8:00 PM until 4:00 AM, but may vary depending on working conditions on a given day.

All scheduling dates are dependent on weather conditions and subject to change. Please be sure to check our Town’s website for any updates to this schedule.

You may experience travel delays during this time. On-street parking will not be permitted from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM, within the vicinity of construction activity.

Please seek guidance from available representatives (Police/DPW/Engineering Staff) that will be onsite during the work. We apologize for any inconvenience.
