We want to ensure our customers that the Weir River Water System is not affected by ECOLI Contamination as reported by Abington-Rockland Joint Water Works.
The WRWS has been advised of a notice distributed by Abington-Rockland Joint Water Works regarding an EColi Contamination - Boil Water Advisory. This notice lists the Town of Hingham. Please be advised there is NO ECOLI CONTAMINATION in the Weir River Water System that services Hingham, Hull and North Cohasset. The only residents in Hingham affected by this order are those on Abington St near the Rockland line that are connected to Abington-Rockland Joint Water Works.
