The Planning Board’s public hearing to review proposed zoning for the Town’s compliance with the state MBTA Community multifamily housing mandate under MGL Chapter 40A, Section 3A will continue by Zoom on Monday, February 12, 2024. The hearing on Zoning Article G will include a review of alternative locations that were considered for the state-required zoning district prior to the recommendation for the currently proposed district locations and a discussion of the merits of those locations. The alternative locations include sites on Abington Street, Beal Street, East Street, French Street, Rockland Street, Route 3A, Route 53, and others.
