Hingham, MA – December 22, 2021 – The Hingham School Committee will move forward with candidates Dr. Margaret Adams of Melrose Public Schools and Dr. Scott Carpenter of Monomoy Regional School District in the next step of the 2021-2022 Superintendent Search. The Superintendent
selected will succeed Interim Superintendent Dr. Gary Maestas for the 2022- 2023 school year.
The next step in the process will involve a one-hour, public interview with each of the candidates on Tuesday, January 4th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. These meetings will occur on Zoom. The School Committee will deliberate publicly on January 5th in hopes to select a Superintendent. The January 5th meeting will begin at 6:00 PM at Town Hall and be recorded by Harbor Media.
